Looking beyond lockdown

With obligations to over 150 tenant businesses with almost 1000 staff, we take very seriously our responsibilities for health and safety in a post lockdown Scotland.

We are, of course, closely monitoring advice from the Scottish Government and following all guidelines with regards to social distancing within business and how these guidelines may affect our tenants. That is why we closed our offices on Monday, March 23.

However, as a socially responsible business we’re looking beyond lockdown and starting to formulate plans for a safe return to work.

For example, we have already implemented protective measures for our staff, tenants and visitors to our business centres.

Within our footfall heavy reception areas, the reception desks have been fitted with clear Perspex screens (pic above) for everyone’s safety and, where we have waiting areas, there is ample space for 2m social distancing.

Our property team is currently investigating options for deep cleaning our properties before all tenants return after lockdown.

We are fully stocked with hand sanitisers and anti bacterial gel for communal areas and our already first-class cleaning service will continue to adapt to demands, in particular, the heightened awareness of personal safety and the caution that COVID-19 has brought to us all.

We will continue to offer the very best service to our tenants, with an overarching aim of ensuring the safety of everyone who works in, visits or enters one of our properties,

In terms of our own staff, we have ordered face masks and are looking at shift patterns, flexible home working and the reorganisation of Ceteris office layouts to ensure social distancing between colleagues.

We have also emailed our tenant businesses this morning to ask for their suggestions on what we could do to protect their physical, mental and economic health.

These are unprecedented times.  We completely understand the challenges businesses are facing and the extremely difficult decisions that have to be made to survive.

That is why, whilst our receptions are closed, our Senior Management Team, Property, Finance, Marketing and Business Gateway functions are all working from home to support our tenants and businesses all across Forth Valley.

We are working closely with our partner organisations in order to share and stay up-to-date with the very latest grants and funding news, plus guidance on business operations during the COVID-19 crisis.

As there is so much information out there, we have also created a rolling news section on our website to help guide your decisions throughout this crisis.

To contact our Property department email support@ceteris.co.uk or call 01259 721454 whilst Business Gateway Clackmannanshire can be contacted via businessgateway@ceteris.co.uk or 01259 726430.

We look forward to being able to safely welcome everyone back to our business centres and industrial parks post lockdown.

Stay safe everyone.
