Ceteris tenant, Omega Diagnostics, is expanding its Alva headquarters due to the growth of the company and to accommodate the production of the COVID-19 lateral flow test.
Project connect
Ceteris Maintenance Manager, Steven Dalgleish, will Project Manage the build and local building firm Marshall Construction are the contractor . The project at the Hillfoots Business Village is to build a link corridor to connect the two remaining blocks at the Alva site. A similar project was already completed for their other 2 buildings at this site and now they need to link the 3rd. This will create a fully linked building for the expansion, connection and innovation of this key company in the Ceteris portfolio and in the local area.

Omega has been a Ceteris tenant since the early 1990s and has expanded their operations on a number of occasions, while retaining their Head Office in Clackmannanshire.”
Who are Omega?
Omega Diagnostics, producers of VISTECT CD4 rapid test and food intolerance testing kits, are now manufacturing COVID-19 lateral flow testing kits. The headcount in the Alva headquarters has now reached 123 people and staff could grow by a further 60 over the coming months; this is great news for the wee county.
Fight against COVID-19
Omega is nearing completion of their new manufacturing facility at the Alva site which will enable ramping up capacity to two million tests per week by the spring. They are proud to be in the fight against COVID-19 and contributing to getting us back to normal life again.
