Forth Valley-based commercial landlord and business support provider has appointed a new board of highly experienced non-executive directors.
The new appointees to the Ceteris Board reflect the priorities of the organisation. They bring significant commercial experience plus expertise in carbon reduction, property management, digital transformation and economic regeneration. The new board boasts appointees from some of Scotland’s and the UK’s most successful companies.
Chair of the Board – Stewart MacRae. Stewart is a former Regional Managing Director of Edrington, owner of world-famous whisky brands including The Macallan and Famous Grouse. An entrepreneurial and inclusive leader with extensive board experience, Stewart brings a breadth of cultural perspectives, diversity of thought and a passion for building great teams.
Board Vice Chair – Peter Matthews. Peter is the former Managing Director of homebuilder Springfield Properties PLC. With previous senior roles at Taylor Wimpey, RAC and Reuters, he brings a wealth of property and senior management experience to the team.
Non-Executive Directors. Stewart and Peter are joined by Non-Executive Directors Rich Alvis, currently a director at Barclays Private Bank, energy consultant Graeme Forbes and Advocate and commercial lawyer Gail Hawthorne. Colin Smith, who has led major digitalisation programmes at global brands such as T-Mobile and UBS, also joins as a co-opted member to help Ceteris update its processes and core technologies.
Ceteris helps make business happen. With an asset register of over £15 million and a track record of delivering significant economic benefit through local enterprise support, the Clackmannanshire-based organisation is on a mission to make a difference.
